229 ii. Kenneth Buchholz was born on 26 March 1963 in Washington, Franklin County, Missouri. He died on 27 March 2015 at the age of 52 in Creve Coeur, St. Louis County, Missouri. He was buried on 1 April 2015 in Midlawn Memorial Gardens near Union, Franklin County, Missouri. Kenneth Edward Buchholz, known to all as Kenny, departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO on March 27, 2015, having reached the age of fifty-two years and one day. Kenny was born in Washington, MO, on March 26, 1963, son of John Edward Alfred Buchholz and Elsie Buchholz nee Keen.

Kenny is survived by his mother, Elsie Buchholz and fiancé, Cal Sansoucie, of Union, MO; by his grandmother, Mary Bell of St. Clair, MO; by his brother, Darrel Buchholz and fiancée, Suzette Monda, of Union; by two nephews, Bryan Buchholz and girlfriend, Ashley Burnett, of Union and Tommy Buchholz of Union; by one niece, Becca Buchholz of Union; by his god-children, Eric Gaither, Tyler Gaither and wife, Megan, of Lonedell, MO and Devin Gaither; by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, John Buchholz; and by his best friend, Frank Gaither.

Kenny was a Christian, believing in the Lord as his Savior. He was employed by Daimler-Chrysler Corporation, currently working at the Indiana location, as an assembler in the transmission department. He was a proud member of United Auto Workers #685. He had been with the company for thirty years and had spent twenty-five years in Fenton, MO and the last five years in Kokomo, IN. Kenny had a variety of hobbies and interests throughout his life including fishing, hunting, and especially playing golf. He was also an avid sports fan and loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Rams and Mizzou football and basketball. Kenny also had an extensive collection of Anheuser Busch beer steins. What meant most to him was time spent with his family and friends, especially at barbeques. It was a sure bet that where ever he went, his thirty year old “blue cooler” would be at his side. Although he had no children of his own, his nieces, nephews and godchildren held a special place in his heart, as he did in their hearts. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will never be forgotten.

A kind and loving son, brother, uncle, godfather, nephew, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with Rev. Jim Watson officiating. Interment was at Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union, MO. Memorials may be made to the family for Becca’s college fund.
